While there are a number of ways to archive your data on a Mac, backing up a Windows partition via OS X simply hasn’t been possible – until now. Thanks to Paragon Software Group, the capability has become a reality with the release of Paragon Boot Camp Backup. Not only does the software let you backup Windows partition data to a Mac hard drive, but it is even the industry’s first application to do so. Komarov finished his interview by highlighting the different needs of home consumers and corporate users. He said: “They don't want to think about complicated backup schemas or install complex software, while corporate users do care about privacy a lot," he said. "They need minimal RTO (recovery time objective) and RPO (recovery point objective), which is not okay in comparison with locally stored backups. So they want more control, and much better performance.”

Apart from the Mac-to-Windows migration and the Mac-to-Mac restoration functionality, Paragon Boot Camp Backup includes a number of key features and benefits. Primary backup options with Paragon Boot Camp Backup include sector-level backup for system backups, virtual disk backup and incremental imaging, which backs up files only as they are modified. Scheduled backups let you automate the process, and selective restoration features let you choose which specific files you want to restore.
