SanDisk Unveils Several New CloudSpeed SSDs

With capacities from 240 GB to 960 GB, the SanDisk CloudSpeed Ascend offers an 80K / 15K read / write support and the ability to store 1.8 petabytes of data over the span of its expected lifetime.

Finally, SanDisk's new line of cloud-oriented SSDs even includes an eco-friendly drive. The SanDisk CloudSpeed Eco is for enterprises who want to minimize their carbon footprint while still preserving the amount of data needed in order to maintain competitiveness in today's IT industry. Available in capacities from 240 GB to 960 GB, the SanDisk CloudSpeed Eco is capable of achieving 80K / 15K read/ write speeds while processing as much as 1 petabytes worth of data over its life.

Additional Features

The developers at SanDisk also integrated many features that are shared throughout the entire line of CloudSpeed drives. Complete with SanDisk's own Guardian Technology Platform, which combines the functionality of DataGuard, FlashGuard and EverGuard all into one architecture, users won't have to worry about the long-term protection of their critical data.
