Horizon DataSys Releases Complementary Instant Restore Software

While there are plenty of imaging software options available on the market today, none have been able to capture instant restoration functionality such as that seen in Windows’ own System Restore option. However, that time is gone. Thanks to a new software update from Horizon DataSys, consumers can use Drive Cloner Rx 6.0 to capture the complete state of a hard drive; including applications and subsystems associated with instant recovery software. As such, users are able to create reliable snapshots and backup images in a manner that is more comprehensive than ever before.

Previous users of Horizon DataSys’ Drive Cloner software may be familiar with some of the most popular features of the application, including the ability to backup any number of drives or partitions, support for full and differential backups, archival validation and backup scheduling. Additional capabilities of the software include options for creating an ISO image or a bootable DVD of your data, the ability to peruse backup files in a virtual drive format and more.

Drive Cloner Rx 6.0 can be beneficial to a number of different professions and roles in the IT industry. Small and medium-sized value-added resellers can use the bare metal recovery option of the software to perform a “factory reset” on their own offerings, while customer PC builders can install their own, pre-configured recovery partition to streamline the restoration process when needed.

Lyle Patel, chief executive officer and president with Horizon DataSys, spoke highly of the new Drive Cloner Rx 6.0. He was quoted as saying: “The time has come to announce the release of Drive Cloner Rx 6.0, and it’s finally here, making this the first imaging solution capable of taking reliable backups with RollBack Rx on the same machine.” He continued with: “We’ve listened to our community and after a long development process to ensure the quality of our program meets not just our standards, but our users’ standards too, we’re proud to put this program to market.”

By combining the functionality of both Drive Cloner RX 6.0 and RollBack Rx, users will be able to benefit from a comprehensive disaster recovery solution that is compatible with any PC. Known as the “PC Time Machine,” RollBack RX is able to take an almost unlimited amount of snapshots to aide in the archival of data such as user-specific programs, system drivers and more. Moreover, the fact that RollBack Rx utilizes 256-bit AES encryption and sector-level data storage greatly reduces system vulnerability to viruses, ransomware and other malicious software.

Given their previous innovations as well as their obvious commitment to customer service, it’s anybody’s guess as to what features might be included in future updates. If the latest update to their Drive Cloner software is any indication, however, we can expect to see a lot more software dedicated to data backup and restoration within the 21st century.
